Winter Art

This was a fun project. We were working on the art element, texture.  Through the use of tthree different techniques we were able to create a beautiful winter scene.

We have been reading about the life of Martin Luther King Jr.
I love this art project.  We drew pictures of ourseves off of a photograph, then traced them onto a plastic film.  We then water colored inside the shape.  Finally, we selected charater traits that describe our best qualities and glued them in the white space.  The project focuses on the fact that it doesn't matter the color of your skin it is chracter traits that make you special.
